How It Works
#1 STEP - Tap and covering
Taping and covering up all the hardware and light fixtures within the room will help prevent the paint from spilling and damaging them. We’ll protect all power points, architraves, and the floors.
#2 STEP - Preparing
Fill in the cracks and holes within the walls by applying two coats of plaster compound in the needed areas.
#3 STEP - Sanding
After the plaster compound has dried, the surface will be lightly sanded down until smooth.
#4 STEP - Cleaning
Remove the dust by wiping and vacuuming the surfaces before painting.
#5 STEP - Sealing (If needed)
A sealer, primer or an undercoat will be applied if working on new walls, if scuffs or marks have been repaired or if painting over existing paint that is darker in color.
#6 STEP - Painting
Brushes will be used when cutting in around the walls and ceilings, as well as on trims, skirting boards and around window frames. Rollers will be used for large spaces like walls and ceilings.
#7 STEP - Final Walk Through
On the project’s delivery date, the painting contractor and the client will take a tour around the job site to ensure that the painting contractor has provided services of an acceptable standard, and to the reasonable satisfaction of the client.
